What are the core reasons for the cancellation of a marketing dissertation proposal?

Dissertation proposals are usually written before the dissertation and all the data is filtered out from different sources so that the student can initiate a proper dissertation. Marketing  Dissertation proposal at times can be tricky because it is highly probable that instructors might ask for revisions and the proposal would get cancelled. This is because of the scenario that students are not sure about the fact that what information would be included in the proposal and what is the core importance of a proposal.

There are number of reasons why a proposal gets cancelled and these reasons are listed below:

  1. The element of marketing research and pure marketing mythology is not present in the research.
  2. Ambiguity in terms of the preparation of aims and objectives.
  3. Lack of research based literature and analysis.
  4. Unable to collect important pieces of information through which decisions can be taken.
