What is the importance of an introduction chapter in an MSC dissertation?

There are several chapters in a dissertation and all the chapters have their own importance. All the chapters are divided into several word counts and all of them are usually written from the scratch so that the dissertation would give a proper look. Besides other chapter the first and the foremost chapter of a Msc dissertation possess its own importance. There are several important aspects of the first chapter. Usually the elements that are associated with this chapter are the title of research, background of research, research analysis, aims and objectives, research limitations, structure of report etc. All these aspects should be properly in aligned with each other in order to generate the best possible results in both the short and the long run. However, aspects like plagiarism and grammatical errors should not be there to generate a better result. The importance of this chapter can be left by the scenario that the actual tone is set through this chapter.
